ITVibes is proud to sponsor this year’s Mile For Meals 5k Run and Walk to benefit Meals on Wheels Montgomery County. This organization provides home-delivered meals, safety checks, and transportation services to homebound seniors living in Montgomery County. With these services, elderly homebound residents are able to remain safe and cared for in their homes.
Meals on Wheels
Ensuring that older homebound individuals receive proper nutrition and social interaction, Meals on Wheels serves nearly every community in America. With the help of more than two million staff and volunteers, the organization enables America’s seniors to lead their lives with independence and dignity. Meals on Wheels Montgomery County serves 550 people each weekday, helping their local aging neighbors get the nutrition they need from a friendly face.
5k Run and Walk
The course will start and end at B-52 Brewing Company. You may walk, run or jog. Whatever works for you! Once you cross the finish line, grab a beer or soft drink and enjoy the day with food trucks, games, and more. This is a great opportunity to get outside and support your community. A portion of proceeds will go towards helping to feed homebound seniors in Montgomery County!
