OMEDtech was founded in September 2002 by David Makanani and Stephen Ford, and was developed with the mission of utilizing over 75 years of collective medical device industry experience to assist companies move quickly through the regulatory process. By using their hard won experience they are able to reduce the false starts and mistakes attributable inexperience. David and Stephen have been involved with medical device startups since their earliest days in the industry. They have a keen understanding of the challenges faced by startups as well as more mature operations. Both types of companies are faced with ground breaking products that challenge the market as well as their processes, limited financial resources and short timelines.
