Spring-Klein ChamberRachel Behrens of iTVibes, Web Design and Marketing Company in Spring/The Woodlands, TX, and Dan Roberts of R&R Consulting, conducted two Ambassador Blitz events in Old Town Spring to encourage membership in the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce. Rachel is currently a Member and Ambassador of the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce.
For the first blitz event, teams met for lunch at local’s favorite Wunsche Bros Café located on the corner of Midway and Hardy Street. For the second event, they met at Old Town Spring’s very own winery, Wimberley Valley Winery, located on Main Street. Each blitz consisted of teams made up of Ambassadors and Members. After the teams met at each location, they set out to shop, talk, and meet with potential members at local area businesses.
Old Town Spring is a little town in the north Houston area well known for their unique blend of shopping delights, cafés, and a museum that highlights the actual founding of Old Town Spring. The town’s most famous event each year is The Texas Crawfish and Music Festival which has been held since 1986. People from all over come to enjoy the live music, devour spicy crawfish, and tour vendor booths.
The mission of the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce is to be the primary resource and support of area economic development and quality of life. iTVibes is a growing community based web design and marketing company that works with several local chambers in the Houston Area. If you are a small business, the best way to grow is to be a part of your local area Chamber of Commerce. Being a member helps establish your roots in the community, allows you to network with other businesses in the area, and makes you part of a larger team.
Rachel explains, “This experience of planning and organizing The Ambassador Blitz was exciting and rewarding, a most definite win-win for iTVibes Inc., Old Town Spring, and Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce!” She continues by saying, “iTVibes is part of a unique and creative greater Houston area community. I truly enjoy working for a company that has the knowledge to share and educate businesses on not just selling a product or services but on solving problems by offering free events through different and diverse chamber of commerce’s, universities, local colleges, and small business organizations.”
