Conroe Web design and marketingITVibes, Inc., Web design and marketing company in Conroe/The Woodlands, Texas, has donated their design services to the Leadership Montgomery County (LMC) Class of 2014 rainwater harvesting and public education class project.
The project will benefit the 485,000 plus citizens of Montgomery County, Texas by raising awareness of water conservation methods, such as rainwater harvesting, providing working examples of the process, and developing a website that provides conservation resources.
LMC is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to developing and enhancing current and future leaders of Montgomery County. The organization has helped to shape remarkable leaders in the county who serve as nonprofit board members, political leaders, CEOs, committee chairs, business owners, and many more.
Each LMC class selects a project that tackles a community need. It gives class members an opportunity to get involved in real world leadership growth while enhancing their leadership skills through a hands-on experience. With the population of Montgomery County growing rapidly, from 393,601 in 2006 to 485,047 in 2012 (United States Census Bureau), and a persistent demand for a considerable reduction in future groundwater, the Class of 2014 decided to endorse water conservation through a water harvesting project. They understand the importance of this project for the future since the population of the county is predicted to exceed one million by 2040.
The class, working with community partners like ITVibes, are helping to raise awareness through updating the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District website to include pages about the LMC project, and installing several rain water collection systems throughout the community. Each location has a system by which rainwater is collected, filtered, and stored for use in landscaping.

“We are very excited to be involved with LMC Class 2014’s project working on the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District’s website,” said Siva Yenneti, ITVibes President and Co-Founder. “As a community based company, ITVibes, a Conroe Web design and marketing company, has always believed and acted upon ‘Give First. Get Later’ principle. We helped the class by making changes to the http://www.lonestargcd.org by adding LMC project’s site map and pages to provide real time information to the community. We wish the Class of 2014 and the project a great success.”
